Well, when yall say outdated, I'm thinking no airbags and all. I'm not that old (32), but most are looking for a car that still looks new. I'm on the opposite end thinking, it's been around for 15 years, and soon will be a classic.

Also, opinions on the look of the interior are more than welcome

there are a few reasons why I think they aren't dated, its rare to see a firebird on the road, and when I see one I just cant help but stair (well before I got mine and even now) the camaros on the other hand I see alot more of and with the new one coming out it will really hit the camaro hard, but they still are badass. Reason number two is they preform amazing, we keep up with the new challengers, srt8, the whole street racing scene is afraid of the almighty ls1
Our cars still handle amazing too. I say that the trans am will still go have a lot longer and the camaros still got like 5 years, but whats really gonna kill the camaros "modern aspect" is the new one. Either way I would'nt care, **** if I make enough to get a new camaro I wanna get one and still keep my old one

If you're comparing the F-Body to new cars of course in ways it'll be out-dated, mainly when it comes to gadgets and stuff. Appearence wise the Trans am & Camaro's are classic. I think the ebony interior on Firebird's & TA's should have replaced the pewter/gray long before 2000.

The only retro car that has been out is the mustang, the challenger has barely been out and the camaro is coming in a year and by that time ford is going to re-design the mustang all retro again. The retro styling is far from over. Just my opinion

The Retro party started in 2000 with the introduction of the PT Cruiser and it was discontinued this year due to poor sales. The Chevy SSR truck, another retro, had a similar fate.
To quote another board member, "Retro is really just becsaue they ran out of fresh ideas."
The Mustang is currently a retro... but the next gen Mustang is a modern design. It will be the first time in history the Mustang will look more modern than a Camaro
When you consdier that retro styling has been around for 8+ years.... GM is indeed late to the retro party. Frankly... they missed the boat... but in the case of the Camaro... it is a party the car should have never attended. The Camaro, Firebird and Corvette are cars that should look to the future.... not the past.

i just bought a 99' Z28 i have always liked t/a's since my bud had one 2yrs ago and thats wat i wanted forever. for some reason i bought a camaro its pewter which i think is the 2nd best color besides 1st=sunset orange tied with s/e yellow t/a. from certain angles a camaro is awesome looking, like from the side. but seeing a t/a go by or behind u, can make u have a wreck if ur not careful! hell i love'm all!

I've had more than one person recently ask me if my Camaro's are new! I almost laugh becasue like we all know the f-bodies have been gone for 6 years. It cracks me up that some people don't even realize that the f-bodies are even gone. I took it really personally when the f-bodies were killed, so it's funny to me that people wouldn't know that the cars are not in production. Come on it's an american icon, how can't you know they are gone? But the Camaro is coming back!!!!

Late model 4th gens are "ALL THAT." I parked my car next to a new Mustang and it made the Mustang look like a billboard. I think ALL RETRO cars are unimaginative and dated looking.
