Default hypertech V Hptuners

http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite.php

http://www.hypertech.com/hyperpac/index.php

so i cant decide between these two products. i am looking for the best MPGs but more power is always a plus. i have a 99 z28 camaro. i currently have a hypertech tuner but I'm looking for something with live data read outs like these. i like how the hyperpac can be mounted on my dash and used every time i drive as the hptuner has to be run through a laptop. but I'm thinking the hypertech tune is not going to get as much mpg as the custom tune of the hptuner will get. i am also worried that the hptunner will be hard to work as i really have no clue on how to tune a car. i have a k&n air charger and flomaster exhaust and i don't think the hyperpac will custmize to the better flow as the hptuner would. so do you think i will be able to get enough mpg out of the hptuner to make it be worth how hard it is to use??? any info on ether is well appreciated!!!

I would definitly go with Hp Tuners. The tuning can be tricky at first but trust me, if you put some effort into it you will get it. Also I picked up about 2 mpgs with a tune I made myself.

Want COMPLETE engine management? Get the HP Tuners and they even have a VERY helpful forum. Much more tham a handheld tuner can do....

Hptuners, gonna take a while to learn, hypertech is honestly useless except for gear ratio and tire size changes.

Yes, HPtuners can get rid of the o2 sensor codes or any other error for that matter. It will work great with lts, cam, and intake, hypertech cant tune for any of that.

This is like asking "Which is better: a Cadillac or a Yugo?" If you have any intelligence whatsoever you can do tuning yourself. It's actually fun to do and you will learn alot about how fuel injected motors work.

It is much easier once you have everything in front of you. Just make sure you read a lot on the Hp Tuners forum and ask questions.

hp tuners hands down, but you gotta put some time into it - read everything you can find especially the hp tuners forum........ ive had it for 5 months and starting to feel like ive got a clue with it but still much more to learn

As for ease of use - there are a ton of tables in there and you gotta really take your time learning before jumping in and making changes, scanner is great through - got mine permanently installed on my carputer, always on(when car is running) and logging

With HPTuners, I would highly recommend getting a wideband o2 gauge.
