Most of the time, those "horses" that do manage to bite pretty hard aren't horses at all - they're snakes! 
I voted for the LS1. Not because I'm biased, because I think Mustangs sound incredible, but I honestly think that the LS1 with full exhaust sounds absolutely amazing

It's pretty obvious that mustangs sound better, that's the only thing I like better about them. I'm surprised the pole is as close as it is but I guess when you post it on an ls1 site it's pretty typical a lot of people are going to be bias even though it's not a hard choice. I'm glad to see not everyone has too much pride to vote for another car here though cause the mustang is still winning. I'm guessing a lot of the people voting for the ls1 are just voting for it because that's what they own and not what car truely sounds better. I don't have any problem admitting mustangs sound better, I also don't mind beating 99.9% of them when racing
We all know if this was an engine pole the ls1 would win by a land slide.

I'll admit, I thought there would be alot more biasesness (is that a word?) biasnessism? anyway, i thought there would be alot more bias than there has been! Keep in mind, the quote is from a mustang owner
i wonder if the results would be the same over on the svt forums? lol.oh, and i voted ls1 because i absolutly love how loud my stuff is...but then agian im running a truedual magnaflow everything with gutted cats and long tubes.

i think a cammed, full exhaust, and by full exhaust i mean duals, sounds better than a mustang. so i voted LS1
but if it was just a cat-back for cat-back, i would have voted the mustang/cobra

Stock vs stock it's no contest IMO. The Mustang sounds like it has over 300hp and would kick some ***. The LS1 F-bodies sound like they have 280hp and are soooo mellow they seem like an SH*T-4 Peon would walk them.
And the 2V and 4v 'Stangs sound meaner with just a catback vs an LS1 with a catback. Just my opinion though. Thankfully, the LS1 has the Lightning even if it lacks the thunder.

uhhh, i LOVED the sound of my car when it was LT's -> true custom duals... sounded freakin mean! And it was perfect in a 6 speed, it could be quiet when it needed to be, and insane when droppin the hammer.
but muffler for muffler the mustang does sound better.
