how do you know if you have ls6 heads?

Default how do you know if you have ls6 heads?

is there a different casting number? did GM randomly put them on f-bodies? any power difference?

They were never put on f-bodies

They are alot better than the LS1 Heads.
Look for a "243"..its the Casting Number on the ends of the Head.
When did you sell the T/A bro?

NO GM did not put them in F-bodies...

sold it about 2-3 months ago, end of may for $5560. Bought the 02 a week later for $6700. Very nice little upgrade.

look for 243 casting # and also triangular casting marks. 243 heads were cast in a semipermiable mold. different and more affective casting than a 241 head. 243 head ports are more smooth and have D-shaped exhaust ports

Thanks, I'm much happier with this car. The LS1 is everything I expected and more. Plus.. leather and t-tops with a much nicer clutch. The dumdumdumdumdum came with some really stiff clutch not sure if that was stock or aftermarket.
