Default Got 5 grand to spend

Ok so what do I do with 5000 bucks. I allready have ms4 cam, double vavle springs, chromemoly pushrods, ls6 intake, lid, k&n air filter, tires, lt headers with td exhaust, and ngk tr55 irdium spark plugs with msd 8.5mm wires installed on my car. Not tuned though. I have a moser 9" rear with 4.11 gear ratio and full spool diff and textralia oz700 clutch waiting to be put on. What should I do with the 5 grand?

I'd get the best heads out and a fast 92/92. I'd get it tunes afterwards also. What are you looking for? Any goals in mind?

The car is driven on rare occasions. Would like to start going to the track. I would like to get around 450 to the wheels.

I do need to upgrade my intake and throttle body (stock). I also would like to get some heads too. I know that the tune is going to be around 800, parts installed and fix whatever is wrong with my engine....?dunno?. Hopefully I'll have about 2500 left over.

Fab your own or get a used turbo kit, injectors, fuel pump, and tune.. Then save and get some heads, fast 92 combo, built trans.

450 should be no prob to achieve, specially since you already have a good cam and exhaust. I wouldn't spend a crap load on heads, some basic ported 1s6 heads with your cam should get you right around 450 with your 9''. I look into getting some 42lb injectors, bigger fuel pump and some suspension mods. If you want more, you should have enough for a nice spray kit. Good luck!

How are the 42lb injectors? Why do you think I would need a bigger fuel pump? If I do get heads then they will be the prc ls6 heads from texas speed. My suspension is stock. What first suspension mods do you suggest?

What kind of gains/difference is there when upgrading the fuel pump? How much is the stock rated to?

Nitrous, tune, tires, and some supporting suspension parts (TA, LCAs, SFCs...).

I wouldn't get QA1s. Thats for sure. The best shock as far as our cars go is definitely the Koni SA.

Most would agree that the Konis are better. Only thing the QA1s have over the Konis is you can adjust ride height, which I don't think is that important.

Apples to oranges.
QA1's are drag shocks, good for drag racing, terrible for everything else (ride, handling).
Konis are handling shocks, good for handling and ride quality(FAR superior street shock to QA1s), ok for drag racing.
Heres a direct comparison from the same car with both shocks:

you can get a used procharger for around 3,000, 500 or so on a good dyno tune and have over 500rwhp. You could also buy some 6.0 heads for dirt nothing to lower the compression and be safer.
