Default Jet HOt headers on an 02 TA

i have jet hot LT's and not cats, i have an unstamped muffler i think is a slow master. i REALLY hate the loud rasp/crackle until she is really spun up. what would be a good muffler to get rid of that. I was thinking a glass pack like a cherry bomb or something does anyone have any suggestions?

I say go with Hooker or Magnaflow. Both are pretty good for the price. They do have a nice sound to me.

if making it somewhat quieter is your goal consider edelbrock RPM or SLP dual dual mufflers. or add cats, just dont get jethot removable cats, they wont pass a visual emmisions test.

i dont have visual test anyhow and cats are EXPENSIVE. so do you think the magnaflow or hooker will lower the crackle/ rasp of the sound.

Magnaflow has a good selection of cats...some reasonable to match your budget maybe. [I don't run them myself]

well see i figured a glasspack would absorb the rasp and crackle. i dont know alot about all the mufflers, but i know glass packs do that for the pipes on my banshee. and i dont have the money to buy mufflers till i find one i like.

it was a long time ago but i thought a pair of catco cats were only like $150. magnaflows were slightly higher. not sure of todays prices.
