no way can vette weight + aerodynamics can make up for a 100hp difference in power.

A F body .
Corvette's have chassis that are built for road racing, not drag racing, they are sports cars. Fbodies already have more of a "drag" type of chassis.

The C5's frame is hydro formed. It is in fact more ridged and sturdy. Vette's can also run higher HP, with out having to do "supporting" mods to the rear end. Back to the topic though...

My friend's 1LE '02 Z28 A4 weighed 3,360 w/ him in it w/ 1/2 tank of fuel and Weld Pro Stars. Hope this helps.

mine weighed 3374 bone stock..should be around 3280 or so now with the lighter exhaust and draglights..
