Depends if you want a pony/muscle car Camaro or a sports car Vette? I personally would go with a C6 between the two. Don't forget that he first Camaros will have a nice mark-up that'll make it more worth it to buy a Vette.

i would want to drive a vette with the paddle shift thing just to see whats its like, but i would still get a manual anyday

Its your choice but there is a guy here in town that has a Z06 and he drives it like he is on the prowl and it moves like a shark in water.I love my Camaros though and nothing could make me part with my 86 Z28.

C6 all the way. And I'd be surprised if you couldn't find an 07, or maybe even an LS3, for that price range with how bad people are hurtin for money. I personally don't think the new Camaro should even be an option if you're considering a C6.
