Just like the title says. I am selling my 00' SS and I want to buy an 05/06 C6 or should I wait for a 2010 Camaro?

I would really love to step into an LS3 but I only have about 39k to spend. I think I can possibly get a decent 07' even for that right now. But, I am unsure if 08' will drop enough in price for me.

C6 and it's a no brainer if you got the money...

 

Id get a mint C5 ZO6 and have cash left over for mods. But if your set on a C6 thats what I vote for.

 

I'd get a 2010 Camaro over an LS2 Vette, but not over an LS3 Vette. Really though we need more info on what you're looking for in a car. They are completely different animals.

 

Buy the first model year of the new Camaro. Then you can get pissed off after all of the recalls and service bulletins and enjoy watching the value drop every day after it's off of the lot.

It's your money, so do what will make you happiest.

If you parked a C6 and the new Camaro side by side and let me choose either, the 'Vette would go home with me especially after the wonder of seeing the new Camaro wore off.

 

The C6 weighs less, looks prettier, handles, etc. It's a no brainer.

 

Sell the SRT-8 and the SS and get a C6 Z06 and then let me go for a ride!

 

As i've said before. A 4000lb pig of a Camaro or a 3200lb Corvette. Choice is easy

I have decided to wait a bit more into winter and see if any of the used 08's come down a bit more in price.

Agreed with the majority above...do you want an apple or an orange? The Camaro is neat, but the Vette takes the cake anyday. Good luck with your choice!

A vette is, and ALWAYS will be, the epitome of American muscle cars. It is an American icon; dare i say, even more then the Camaro?
