i've always ran mobil 1 in everything i've owned and everything stays at 40 lbs when warmed up . i've ran it in a C4 vette, 95 & 96 full size GM trucks, and 02 ws6 and NEVEr ran below 40lbs of pressure. my 95 has 320,000 miles and the pressure just started dropping to 20 when its warmed up so i changed the oil pump and its right back like it was 40lbs when warm.

Mechanical gauges are the only way to know what the real pressure is, these gauges in our cars suck. Thats why as long as there's some amount of pressure showing, 99% of the time, everything is fine.
