My M6 car has a pretty bad water leak coming from under the passenger's side kick panel toward the radio only when it rains hard outside. It actually pools in the foot rest area when it's raining and you can see water streaming from the side where the radio sits.
I know it's not the heater core because this is straight water and rainwater at that. I've checked for leaks above and don't see any issues or anywhere water could get in.
Any ideas? Thanks.

The only air leak is from the top-forward on the driver's side window where it needs adjusted. It does not leak enough water though, or from what I can see, have a path to the kick panel on the passenger's side.

I would check the grommet in the firewall on the passenger side below the ECM. It's fairly large, and if anyone has ever ran stereo, or nitrous lines it may have knocked it out of place.

If you haven't found your leak you might try this. I had a similar water leak issue, although mine was from hitting a tree.
If you take out your fan blower from under the passenger side dash and reach your hand up into the dash through the blower hole you will notice it opens up under the cowl. This is the hole that brings in fresh air. If you feel aroung the edge of the hole you will notice that there is a lip and it sticks up about an inch from the metal of the cowl. I had water leaking inbetween where the plastic and metal meet. Just take some kind of water sealant putty/silicone and put all the way around the plastic. This stoped 98% of my water leak. I know this is probably confusing, but once you reach up in there you will see what I am talking about. You can also take off the window trim at the bottom of the windshield and shine a flashlight inside the cowl and see the plastic snout like piece that I am talking about.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I am going to have to look into that, the blower makes a lot of noise when you turn it on in this car. So it needs to come out anyways. Very possible I can fix both issues at once.
