hey, i figured out what my problem was, turned out to be the shock sensor for the alarm. Its located behind the interior panel where the spare tire is. I umpluged it and dont have the issue anymore. Im just going to leave it unpluged till i fine another one to replace it with but thr rest of the alarm system still works fine with it unpluged.
Its worth a shot to check it out on your car to man, goodluck.

Yep those sensors go funny sometimes.

Easy way to test them. The little red light should be OFF then when tapping the sensor it should turn on for a second or two then back off. If it doesn't (like it is always ON, or some people have had them work backwards), then it is definitely bad.

One thing you can try is adjust the little **** and see if it has any effect. I did notice that mine will sometimes get grumpy if there is water on the hatch and I open it too quick, letting water run down there. Sensor gets wet then goes wacky until it dries out.

That would make sense because i opened the hatch right after washing it and got a decent amount of water in and that was right before it started to act up.

Let it dry out good for a few days, it may be ok after that.

My alarm always goes nuts.

It's not the shock sensor, so I disabled it EXACTLY as per the instructions in the owners manual. Tried this repeatedly, and it still goes off.

I'm sure the BCM is screwed up, so now I just slide the door locks back manually. Like the cave men used to do it.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing this was the cause of my issue...my sensor was wet when I pulled it.
