Squeaky shocks? i have a daily driver 01 z28 nothin special done to it.. my shocks are squeaking a lot and it drives me nuts! its pretty embarrasing too. anybody know what i need to do to fix it?

Check all your bushings first. I wouldn't use PB Blaster as it is a penetrating oil, but spray all your bushings / endlinks with WD40 or similar and report back. Shocks normally don't really squeek even when they are bad.

It could be a the brake line bracket attached to the rear axle, its known to squeek. Also could be various bushings as mentioned already.
Regardless you should replace your factory shocks anyway with some that have better valving, you will get better ride quality, better handling and better feel. The factory shocks are the weakest link on these cars by FAR.
