Default Spare Wheel Compartment Leakage

Hello I have noticed that when it rains I get a good bit of leakage in my spare wheel compartment does anybody have any suggestions of preventing this because I would like to move my battery back there or maybe put a carputer there. Any thoughts???

Thanks

Maybe your antenna is leaky?

Search for "rear hatch leak" or along those lines, I think some guys have found the cause for leaks.

Does this only happen when the car is moving? If so, take the spare tire out. There is a large rubber plug in the bottom of the spare tire well. Is yours still there?

The TSB on the rear hatch leak will only apply to air coming from above the car.
