Looks just like every other one in existence. Try searching for details.

I'd solder/crimp a new socket in (like 15 bucks at the parts store) , use the CORRECT P/N bulb, and use some dielectric grease when installing the bulb. Also make sure there isn't any condensation in the housing - that would lead one to think there is a crack somewhere letting moisture in. Take those steps and you shouldn't have any issues. Using the wrong bulb can cause it to fry because the resistance isn't right. A lotta people just shove in any dual filiment amber bulb that fits, and thats not the correct procedure.

Wow. Mine were singed like that after 50K. Have you tried a new bulb? If so, you can also replace the socket without crimping.

yeah i did get new bulbs (correct ones) and they work, it just looks like it melted in a few spots which worries me a little bit.. I know that I am going to need housings at some point i see some hair line cracks starting to form on the corners, no water in them yet though so i have a little time to worry about that

I bought new DRL housings off eBay a while back, they're pretty good quality actually. If you ever need new ones, try to get some manufactured by DEPO auto parts.
