Fix rust or junk car? I have a 94 Formula that I just bought a few months ago, it runs and drive great but I was stupid and bought it pretty much at night and didnt crawl up under it and check it out.
Anyways it has holes in the rear floor pans, holes in the subframe, holes in the pass side rocker, rust coming through the rear fender lips, and there are a few other places were the metal is very soft and britle.
I have a welder, and can do the work.... as long as I can get to it all. But I just dont know if its worth it. The engine and trans are in excelent shape and the body is pretty much dent free but needs paint.
What would you do?

Alex I will have "donor car" for 2,000 please.
You can get a rust free donor car (roller) here in Texas for next to nothing. Dealing with major rust is you never get it all out. You keep cutting and replacing and the cancer keeps spreading.

that was my concern, Id spend hours and hours on this thing, and have it looking good, then in 2 years I find more crap. I might just look for a good roller.
Since my car is a Lt1 does it matter if I find a ls1 or a v6 roller? would they all be the same?
