MAF question?????????????
I believe I may be experiencing problems with my MAF. I unplugged it to see if the drove any better. When I unplugged it the motor changed tones and when I attempt to drive it started stumbling so I plugged it back up and it cleared back up so does this mean the MAF is ok.

I use the electronic spray cleaner, have also used qtips soaked in alcohol and gently cleaned the components. Should do the trick, if you keep getting codes and the MAF is descreened you can try with on, or go to a bigger screen (aluminum photomesh is cheap on Ebay), or if your MAF is bad look into buying the SLP 85mm MAF. here is a pic of mine. PCM uses 5-volt reference "A" circuit as a sensor feed for
EGR valve pintle position, fuel tank pressure (VIN K), MAP, and TP
sensors. PCM monitors voltage on this circuit. If PCM senses voltage
out of tolerance, DTC P1635 sets.
Symptoms (P1635)
You likely won't notice any drivability problems.
Causes (P1635)
PCM detects an out of tolerance condition on the 5-volt
reference "A".
Solutions (P1635)
Check for faulty connections or damaged harness, MAP, MAF, TPS, etc

I'm still chasing down codes and so worth. My cars rides so sluggish. When I get on the gas it seems like its flooding out or something. I removed my egr and air pump system. I found a broken wire on my o2 sensor on the passenger side it was the purple wire. Both the o2s look like **** so I'm going to change those out. but whats got me puzzled is that my fans are not coming on and I have codes P0480 and P0481 and the fuse is good. The temp doesn't go past 210 and I get a low level water light and now and again but the coolant is full and the car doesn't seem to be over heating. And that other code P1635 and the P0507 is mind boggling. I'm just trying to get all the bugs out before I go have my tune. i might have to take to someone and see whats going on but don't have the extra cash to waist on something I might be able to do myself. When I spend some big cash I plan on it being my tune.

P0480 Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Malfunction

doesn't always mean a fuse is your problem, try to directly make the fans work see what happens.

for P0507 the only solution is with the tune as the tuner will lower down the idle rpm.
it should be around 850rpm at idle. or a friend or you could do it if you/he/she have HPTuners.

swapping out your O2's is really going to help with p135 & p154 but keep in mind it might not disappear right away. since you mentioned that the passenger's side O2 wire is cut well that's your problem for P154.

now that you removed your air pump more codes will show just ignore them.. most of those codes will be gone once the tuner see's them(Air pump must be disabled from the computer itself).

define checking out the fan codes?
if you mean get that fixed well, i suggest you start from what i said, try to directly make the fans work see what happens, just take 1 wire from the battery (+ terminal) and touch it with the voltage feeding wire.. to find out which wire that is, use a tester.
if they don't well then guess what needs to be changed

I ran a hot wire to the fans and they both come when I tested each of them but I'm not getting power to the fans. So now what do I do to trace this down since the fuse is good. Could it be the relays.

Still no luck. I replaced all 3 relays. So what to do from here? I'm trying to keep from having to run a toggle switch looks like thats going to be my end result if I don't get it figured out by noon tomorrow.

here's a wiring diagram, from that i would want to check the controllers, you said you've changed the relays, do you mean the relays or their fuses? If you mean the relays then check their fuses if you mean the fuses well test your relays if they actually get any voltage.

There is a cool fan fuse 40A AND 10A check them, although i'm not sure if it would help tbh.

Start from your controllers "shown in the wiring pic" then check if the relays are getting the voltage .. Then trace the wiring to make sure its all connected. Don't forget to check all the relays not just one.

I unplugged the fans today and I have no fire coming to the plugs. I checked the fuses and relays all are geting power. I checked the dk blue wire and the dk green wire both are good and relays click when I test those wires. I am no good at electrical stuff but with the help of you guys I really think I can track it down. AmDWs6 I appreciate all your help. I'm puzzled now. I'm going keep at it till I find it I suppose. I really don't want to hotwire the fans up to a switch.
