Yesterday I was driving with my t-tops off. Normalls I have a 10 Cd Holder on my visor, but I took it off for some reason that day. It was abnormally hot, and on the highway it just fell off. Lucky it fell into the back seat,. .. now, I'm staring at this joint end, like.. um, no screw, or bolt or anything, just kinda looked like it slide back in their. Well, it would stay,.. I took a look at the other one, but didn't want to mess the one working sunvisor up. Anyone else had this happen to them? Any solutions?

mine did this..i pulled the triangle part down... There is supposed to be a flare around the washer..and thats what brakes, mine did it too. I luckily had the washer still, and just hammered it back down. Goin on 6 months strong still.

I'll make a little write-up tonight and take pics for everyone. Could somebody host the pics for me?
Also, when this is done...it would be cool if a Moderator could make the post a sticky and put it at the top of the forum.

i'll also host if you like alec.granado@gmail.com
So them falling off is pretty common? is it just on T-tops or Hardtops as well? i got a huge *** piece of tint that goes from the top of the windshield to maybe 5 inches down close to the rear view mirror, so if it ever falls i'll just use the tint instead of having to fix it, or GLUE IT

This exact thing just happened to me. I was driving and the damn thing just fell right on my lap. I was less than amused, but my gf found it hilarious. =\
That writeup would be appreciated. I was thinking of just compressing the spring, pushing the washer down, and bending the edges of the joint end outward to hold it in place.
