I know I can just go get it at the Chevy dealer down the street but it takes 3-5 business days. Its a special order. And I might save some bucks online

I see them on Ebay all the time, from $9.99 to $14.99.

If you want to order a new one, give SDPC a call (sponsor)

LS1 oil filler cap with Mobil 1 logo = 12555685

GM list price is only about $8.50.

From what I've read, I think it fits LS1 (both F-body etc and Corvette) and LT1 (only on Corvette). Don't know what makes it not fit F-body LT1s - might just be a bit of plastic that could be cut off, or something.

I just bought one on ebay for $9.99 plus $1.99 shipping.

It will be here is 5 days and I didn't have to spend $3 in gas to get it.

Arent we supposed to use 10w30, now 5w30 as it says on the cap? I swear I read 10w30 in the owners manual, maybe my memory is worse than I think it is.
