ok everyone...i'm sure someone in here will have the answer to this question so here goes. I used to have a 2000 Camaro and the horn was loud as hell. Now I have a 2002 Trans Am and the horn sounds like it isn't but like half as loud as the car I used to have. Unless I'm wrong in thinking I think that I read somewhere that f-bodies have 2 horns to produce the tone and that sometimes one can play out or something??? Am I wrong in thinking this or is there someone else out there who knows and if so could you tell me where to find this information at again...thanks

we do have two horns, a high and a low tone. They're easy and cheap to replace at your local auto parts store. Installation time: ~20 min. Refer to your haynes manual or do it the we-todd-id way of standing at the front while someone blips the horn.

To all appearances these are the same Fiamm horns as
the cheapest AutoZone replacement.
Get two low-tone ones, tune with the little potted screw
until they are a couple of Hz apart and you'll be hard to
ignore (subsonic beat-note, perhaps inducing epilepsy or
incontinence
