Could be a lot of things wrong. I would get out a multimeter and start running continunity checks between all of those connections. Also look up any trouble codes. Check to see if the system is leaking.

i am getting voltage all the way to the compressor, but the clutch will not turn on, that leads me to believe that the compressor is bad because it never did get power. this is a remanufactured compressor.

that makes sense right? unless there is something else that would determine whether the clutch engages after the plug on the compressor, but it doesnt look like it from the schematic.

Why wouldn't you first suspect the clutch if you get voltage to there but no engagement?

if you don't have any freon in the system, the compressor won't turn on either.

its haqs refrigerant in it, i had a shop fill it but when they tried to test it they said the compressor wasnt getting any power, i said **** $75 an hour so you can check whats wrong...i later confirmed that the compressor was getting power, but not actually turning on (clutch not engaging).
