I bought a couple supposedly new ones from another ebay store, one was fine and one was noisey. Check their lifetime warranty and see if you have to send it back (pay shipping again, etc.) if it's bad or fails. My advice is pay a little more and get one with a lifetime warranty from your local parts store.

I actually bought a window motor for my passenger side because it wouldnt go all the way up, I would have to wait a little to let it cool before getting it all the way up. I put that autotrix kit and its perfect now

same pictorial I used, It was helpful because you can print out the pictures & match up where you need to drill to get to the rivets holding the motor on.

I was advised by a couple of forum members to get the Siemens motor and not the Dorman. I purchased it from partsamerica for $61.00. Used Shoebox's guide and it works like a charm.

Bought my new drivers and passenger side from ebay for about $10 each. Easy install and 10,000 miles later they're still going strong.

Do the replacement motors go up any faster than the stock ones?

Not any that I've ever put in. I thought autotrix's product did something like that but I'm not positive. Some people say the ones for $50 at Advance and places go up faster.

Hi Folks
Mine came from Advance Auto Parts (about $60) but for the one on ebay, why not - I am sure it works. The price is great but when you replace it use the approach were you drill three holes in the inside door frame, don't follow the shop manual and drill out the BIG rivets (1/4"). I did it the hard way, it worked but would have been easier if I would have drill the three holes to get to the rivets holding motor to window frame.
thanks
Bill
