changed your intake manifold lately?

you lost a vacuum line on the back of the intake. its small and fits on the L fitting where the MAP sensor is.

I am glad I found this thread. Me and a friend just changed the ls1 for a ls6 intake and everything is much better (cam is more defined). Went down the road, turned on the a/c and WTH? A/c at my feet! I had no idea what to think and either did he when I called him but we will check that too.

It could be a bad switch but you will hear a hissing sound by the switch if it is.
It's usually the vacuum line disconnected or broken somewhere between the intake and where it goes through the firewall.

I changed my intake manifold lately, and my A/C only blows out of my defrost vents. But I'm positive that I plugged the line back in. It's the one that runs to the brake booster right?

Actually, scratch my last post. I had no idea there was a Tiny connector underneath the map sensor. I just looked at the one on my LS1 intake. I definitely forgot to connect that. I suppose I have to pull the manifold to fix it?

that just happened to me, I switched the intake lately to and a ls6 and broke the vacuum thing, so I had to make one weird looking one myself, anybody knows where they sell the whole line.

Also, where to the firewall does this line run? So that I might be able to find it when I look for it?

Its just behind the intake on the passenger side, beside the map sensor, it mignt not be broken there, it might me broken some where down the middle, the line is real fragile. or just trace the line all the way to the back of the intake

I talked to a friend of mine, hes a GM tech. I told him about my AC thing and he goes "Oh did you forget to plug in that little line?" I was like how'd you know?

Said it's a small line right behind the MAP sensor, easiest way for me to do it is going to be to unbolt the last 2 Coils (98's bolted to the head individually ftl).

I hope I didn't break anything.
