worse CAI help please

so i wanted red filters so bad and didnt consider displacement. the only way i was able to close the hood was to pull the filters and duct foward so that the back of the big *** filters would sit in front of the stupid pointless raised crease on the bottom of this box. to do that i also had to cut a little plastic off the back of the box so the MAF could come forward more. i also had to put spacers on the hood latch. yea i fuked up. im still waiting on the coupler i ordered to properly conect the duct to MAF but for now i stuck rubber in there. anybody have bright ideas to fix all this to make this more efficient??

just wash the blue filters that came with the kit and put k&n filter oil on them. they'll be red.

stick the filters in the nostrils of the T/A so they poke out and they are still upstream, its the ultimate sleeper, no one is going ot take a car seriously that has two big ole red boogers comin out.
