The install was smooth and simple. I used the hooker off road Y pipe with the headers. I didn't run into any problems and the fit was good with no rubbing or hitting any part of the body or frame. The whole install took 3 hours from start to finish.
I figured I would give a little positive feedback on the hookers...

perhaps you shoul consider letting a shop do all your mods....

I found the install of the hookers easier than taking off my SLP's haha. Only trick was the passenger side had to be up somewhat high.

FWIW my Jet Hots only took 5 hours. They wouldn't have taken that long had I not cut off the 2 3/4" piece of tubing on the ORP and modified the connection to the Dynomax muffler on my I pipe.

FYI - Jet Hots are the same as Hookers LT. Jet Hot just gets them from Hooker and then coats them.


Doubt me? Call up Jet Hot and ask them, I did...

I'm still waiting for my jet Hots to get here, I hoping at least a 10hp gain over my SLP LT.

The jet hots on my buddies car were a little bit easier to install compared to the TR long tubes on my car. The driver side header didn't go in quite as easily.

i dont doubt you, i believe the same thing, but ive been reading on a local car club board that the latest jet-hots are actually made by jet-hot, a borrowed design from hooker :confused

If they are both made by hooker why are the hookers said to be 18 gauge and the jethots 16 guage?
