Default Will I lose low end power?

I have a 2002 Camaro SS that's bone stock. I'm just wanting to get a little more power on the top end. It came with SLP dual-dual exhaust. I was wanting to know if I put headers on it, how much low end power will I lose? Reason why I'm asking, is cause I love the low end power it has. I'm thinking headers, Y-pipe, and a custom tune will get me what I want.

wouldn't worry about loosing power, like ^^^^^ said, all you'll get is more power, even if you did lose bottom end it would be so slight you couldn't even notice.

Headers should pick up hp across the board & there shouldn't be any low end hp loss.

Definitely power everywhere. I easily loose traction on WOT in first gear at almost any MPH in the range contrary to before the headers

I never heard of anyone losing power from a header swap. You might not "gain as much" in the low end department comparing larger header primaries but that topic is debatable.

You will FEEL like you're losing a lot more than you are. In any instance, you have to give a little to get a little. In other words, a sacrifice is always made somewhere. What these guys are saying is that any minor loss of power you experience at lower rpms is going to be compensated for ten-fold in the mid-top end range. A stock car will always feel a little more peppy off the line than a modded car (with exceptions). You will feel this even more when adding a cam. A good remedy is always raising your rear end gear ratio. This gets you in your required powerband sooner and makes your car more fun on the street. Bottom line, get the headers
