Good lord, another header post
I haven't seen that many horsepower posts on Pacesetters and I'm guessing around 18-20 is what you'll see. I've seen about the same from JetHot's. I also have the possibility of some used FLP's. They're 01's and my car is a 99, so some modifications will need to be done, but they're a very good deal. Any opinions appreciated. BTW, street car, 6 speed, cam, 4.10's to be installed.

I wish I could give you personal experience but since no one else wants to comment, I thought I'd throw my $.02 generalization in.
Maybe someone else can give you some better info.

Thanks. I know a lot of things get said a lot of times, but some of us don't live on the net. I check search functions. I'm leaning towards my friends FLP's. Can't go wrong, I'm sure we can get it all to work on my 99. I really like the way you can quick install cats.

Well here is my .02 The jethots are good headers and you should pick up some good power. However I have seen the pacesetters and they are a very high quality header.
OK from the top I like the smooth transitions of the primaries and the minimal bends, they will keep velocity high and have efficient scavenging. Other headers with many turns or anything that is going to slow down the exh charge will not be the most efficient design. this brings us to the collector the PSetters have a nice long tappered collector and that is the focal point of making power. The headers you were considering have a short and sharp collector not the ideal design. If it were not about $$$ the best on the planet are the QTP's or Kooks with the merge collector and velocity spike in stainless steel. Been there and done that I know what makes the power.

Re: Good lord, another header post
I would not expect to gain alot of power w/ out getting a tune after the headers. I have them and the car is running really rich. Lost a serious amount of low end also. Highend seems to rev alot quicker though. They are ok.. never had any other brand of headers on the car to compare them to.
