do we know the measurements of that intake? how high is it? i can compare the height with my current intake and take a guess.

It is just slightly lower than the truck intake ( the little nubs that the cover bolts to)

I dont think its the hood thats the problem i think its the whiper cowl itself. I may be wrong tho

maybe we will get an intake for the f bodys one day that isnt *** ***** expensive

yeah, i heard that also. i have a ls6 intake and i need more, i just dont have the moneys for the fast.

Can a ported stock t/b be used to see the gain of just the intake over my truck intake on my Nova? I would like to try the intake after I max out what I can with my truck intake.

holding off on changing my truck intake till i see some results. anyone need a guinea pig to use? i have plenty of room under hood for intake.

Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT Intake For LS1

The Test
Edelbrock's been at it on the dyno with there new intake manifold and 90mm throttle body for the LS1. Compared with the stock LS6 intake on the company's 5.7L LS1 Corvette Z06 engine, the Edelbrock combo allowed massive amounts of air with the larger plenums and fuel with the throttle body to enter the engine.

Before
Max power: 447 hp @ 6,500
Max torque: 428 lb-ft @ 4,500
Average power: 341 hp
Average torque: 396 lb-ft

After
Max power: 483 hp @ 6,498
Max torque: 431 lb-ft @ 4,993
Average power: 347 hp
Average torque: 400 lb-ft
Difference : +36 hp; +3 lb-ft
