Any comparo with truck intake, stock or h/c?

What does it take to fit this intake on a truck? Fuel rails?

far as i can tell , he trimmed down the tb flange to make is square like the LS2 tb , and not like the LS1 as that hump was on the top

the cowl area looks to have plenty of room , and the strut brace looks very close(which i knew it was gonna be)

oh shiz. If this fits the Goat, i see many a goat owners slapping this intake on there. I may swap out my Vic Jr for this if it fits, and i dont get a maggie.

either way i gotta cut up my hood , ive got the vic jr now and 4 barrel tb , was surprised it all cleared with my BMR strut brace , it looked like they actually made the bar to fit my combo , granted i have their old gto

but with the proflow xt , i would need to make my own strut bar , as mine has the adj fpr and fuel solenoid for the nitrous attached to a welded on bracket

Exclamation Note!

It looks like the TTB flange is causing confusion regarding the ttb bolt holes, adapters and most importantly the flange seal. Edelbrock did not provide an "O"ring groove as the factory intakes have. It's not a major deal, but you'll need to either make a gasket or use some anerobic sealer to seal the ttb to the flange. They have recieved several requests to revise the bolt pattern and add an "O"ring groove to seal DWB 90mm oem units and I hope they can accomodate these necessary changes.

well hopefully they do , i might still buy 1 and put it on my 06 goat

i should have the intake tube finished this weekend , then off to get ceramic coated , then finally get tuned , and hope for a cool night for some racing to se if the vic jr does good or not compared to the old LS6 intake and 80mm bbk tb

Edelbrock recommends using a pn3869 "Universal" 90mm ttb. I guess the bolt holes all lineup with the flange holes. Other than the bolt holes I can't get an answer on what's different between the 3869 and 3864ttbs.

i know their new 90mm tb has a idle air bleed circuit , so no more drilling of the butterfly , also their tb is nice looking

although the outter diameter is over 4" from what my neighbor said
