Does anyone know what car or truck it does fit in.People probably have not dynoed it yet because they are trying to find something to fit it in.

Bob,

Do you plan on doing any testing for this manifold?

The shop that I do business with just took delivery of this intake. They are going to try it out on my 05 GTO. My car is in the shop also. They told me it might fit but it may need a little trimming of material on the top section of the intake opening. There is a lot of material that can be ground down in that section. I am not sure about the wiper cowl. If needed, we can cut into that area. I will also cut my hood or replace it with a cowl hood if needed. I should know more in the next week or so.

JJD49,
Gonna lose the typhoon eh? I dont blame you for going with the typhoon, it performs well and is/was 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a fast. I look forward to hearing your results with the new intake (fit, performance, etc) please take pics of it and post them. Thanks.

Good luck.

For anyone that wants to run standard LS1 style fuel rails with this, I just fabricated some stainless steel mounts for this intake. I'll have some pictures of them up later tonight or tomorrow. The fuel rails that Edelbrock sells has mounting holes towards the end of the fuel rails instead of towards the middle.

For everyone interested, I WILL have a dyno posted on Wednesday, April 15th of this manifold on a Silverado SS with a 414 motor. If my tuner isn't too busy, I'll have back to back dynos with a FAST 90mm (non ported) also.

Wink Throttle Body Fit

I'm so glad to see these getting into the right hands, I looking forward to the dyno results. One note: The throttle body boltholes are positioned to fit either the stock standard 3-bolt LS or the Edelbrock 90mm. Any 90mm throttle body made only to fit 90mm manifolds won't fit. The difference is the bottom two boltholes. You'll need to oversize (or slot them inward and down .160" on an 11.5° angle) these two boltholes so they will fit. That was the only way to accomodate the stock throttle body.

Found out from a shop that the intake doesn't fit GTO's

It it way too tall, and it also hits the wiper cowl and can't clear that.

They said the amount of work it would take to get it to fit wouldn't be worth the money

Sounds good, thanks for the info. We'll be testing one on this CTS-V either at the end of this week or early next week. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=29 Bob

I'm assuming you're an engineer from Edelbrock as I was just on the phone yesterday with Dave S. talking about this exact issue, and he talked to engineering and told me the exact same info.

I've gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed that this intake cannot accommodate a stock GM 90mm Throttle body. Almost anyone that will be running this intake will likely already have some sort of 90mm throttle body with the GM 4 bolt pattern on it.

Fits a truck just fine with plenty of clearance under the cowl. I have some pictures of it installed that I'll be getting up in the next day or two.

I am interested to know if there is much gain with this intake compared to truck intake on 5.7 ci/TR224/TFS215/A4 truck.

It looks bad *** and more power is always good as long as your not cutting anything to get it to fit with how the engine sits back in the f bodies
