Default Expected horsepower and torque??????????

Guys a got a couple ?'s for you all. I'm building a 1996 Ford f-150{ i know its a ford but!!!!} The truck is a prerunner that is going to be used in sand. I'm putting an LS1 with a 4l60e and a 9in rearend. What is the projected horsepower and torque if I take a stock LS1 and put A Fast 90 intake and () throttle body longtubes electric cutouts? just some help so i know what im going to have to spend to get around 400-450 horse. Im thinking it needs heads but theres way too many choices any input to help me on this would be great. or am i better of with stock and then put a procharger on it? you guys will know more than me on this end i usually just make them look pretty. Thanks again for any help

Heads, cam, intake, full bolt-ons, and a good tune will get you close.

What year is the donor LS1? I would save money and skip the fast, instead opt for an LS6 intake with a ported TB. You can get a used LS6 intake for 300-350 bucks, porting the stock throttle will cost > 100. You could also find some take-off 243 heads cheap, and that with a moderately aggressive cam you should be a little north of 400 RWHP.

I know a Lid, Ported throttle body, LS6 intake manifold, Long tube headers, cat back, and tune, will get an ls1 around 400hp at the fly

That's true, but we both know that all that matters is what its makin to the ground. Going the f/i route will work, but you are going to pay $ for it. The procharger plus supporting mods= a pretty good amount of money.

hahaha had to do it i used to have a ranger with a extened camburg beams fox 2.5 coil overs, camburg shackles, deavers fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. Im looking into getting into another one here soon hopefully.. As far as your motor just do a torquer cam with long tubes and a stall. No need for cut outs unless you wanna be really obnoxious...
