Well basically it's almost Christmas and I would like to buy my self something. I was thinking about an underdrive pulley and a thermostat. Will a pulley benefit me a lot with the mods I have listed in sig? How much will an install cost roughly? I was thinking about the BBK SFI Underdrive Pulley Kit. All help appreciated.... thanks!

slps/powerbonds are the same and i think they can be had for around 200. summit sells one around like 175 and i think asps are like 220-240. do some searching on the specifics of each. figure in another 30 to 40 for shorter belts. i would think they are good for a solid 5 hp but who knows maybe 10.

I have an SLP pulley it is very nice however the nice chrome finish (or whatever material that is) is chipping and cracking. It will soon look like my stock ugly Pulley. For that ONLY I recomend ASP since my experience power wise and headache wise has been painless.

I got my powerbond pulley from Texas Speed. They sold me the pulley & necessary belts together. Forgot the price, but remember it was a little cheaper than everyone else.
Dont waste your money on a t-stat. Typically, you can address any cooling issues by getting your fan settings changed (which you will have to do anyways for a lower t-stat). So unless for some reason your enging is running ridiculously hot, its not necessary.

I have never heard anyone with such a problem in my years playing around with cars. And I'm sure you won't find anyone here who had such a problem.

Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously though, I've never heard of this. Ever. I've put 30k miles on my pulley, no problems. There are plenty of others on this board w/ the same experience as me. It'll be fine.
