Default B4 and after Kooks video, sound, dyno numbers

I hope I'm in the right forum for this strictly bolt-on docudrama, with it's video/soundclip and dyno results.

Everyone's done these mods years ago, but I'm kinda slow, and just got time and motivation to figure out my JVC camcorder editing software.

The car:
Pampered (30k street, never raced) 2002 Z28. Heck details are in my sig.

Baseline (330 rwhp) was not strictly stock, since I had long ago added the cold ram air, lid, and Corsa catback.

One month later (Nov '08), final 345 rwhp includes: Kooks headers, Kooks catted Y, CNC TB, 4.10 gears and dyno tune.

Bottom line: I'm very happy with the sotp & sound. My wife used to love driving the car, now she's a bit intimidated by it

Anyway, the video speaks for itself. Enjoy. Feedback/questions welcome.

No, it looks to be with a tune; but you have to factor in the 4.10 gears will lower his numbers.

Around how much do the 4.10s skew dyno numbers?

Wow, feel the love in here...... Seems a little low for Headers/Y/TB .....not sure the gears helped though. Still some decent gains.

That was my reaction too. But then I never expected too dyno at 330rwhp STOCK with only a catback.

Whether the 4.10 gears "skewed" the results, has probably been debated at length on other threads. I was told by the gearheads present that it would not.

So what..., no comments on my masterpiece debut of film making? I spent hours fiddling with that video! I know..I left out the Bikini babe. Next time.

yeah your near-stock dyno numbers are definatly higher than most.

could have been a fluke...

but i would say your modded/tuned numbers are right on par with what a well maintained, well running, well tuned 02 ls1 m6 should put down.

so i guess you're right where you should be.

now CAM it

Yeah, just search around. It's no big deal, probably only maybe 5rwhp between a 2.73 gearset to a 4.10 gearset.

The bigger drops occur when you go to a 12bolt or a power robbing 9"!!! Those can eat 10-15rwhp over a 10bolt.
