Default Headers and complete exhaust system for 98 TA

I have a stock 98 A4 TA and I am looking for a complete exhaust system. I want long tube headers, y pipe with cats(can I use my stock ones?), and a cat back system. I don't care about it being chromed, I would rather it not be, for cost. What is the cheapest way that I can do all this?(everything included, gaskets, any wiring for the cats, hangers, everything needed to install at a shop.) And if possible does anyone have sound clips of what the setup would sound like?

i think your best deal is to go with pacesetter's and a spintech catback. the spintech sounds great not to loud but has a real deep tone with it. mine is 3in. all the way through with dual 3 inch pipes and it cost me around $900 total and thats with the coated headders. if you want more info from me go ahead and e-mail me at usafswat221@yahoo.com

i paid 900 for the whole setup:

600 for jet hot coated LT and the custom Y. used for 4 months then owner sold them cuz of a blown engine

300 for the magnaflow catback brand new from a board sponsor.

your looking at a minimum of
240 for uncoated pacesetters
150 for new high flow cats
250 custom ypipe
300 install
50 o2 extensions
250 for a catback

my recommendation is get
500 pacesetter coated headers & ypipe
250 for a decent catback but dont get hte Loudmouth
50 for o2 extensions

and do the install yourself.

he hit it pretty much dead on. a full exhuast setup aint cheap, no matter how you look at it. and save the install money and do it yourself. i did my LT's and Y and paid a local member to help me with my catback only cuz it needed some welding and cutting, that was only 40 bucks.
