Default best soundin exhaust w/ lt's, ory???

Im looking to install my BBK longtubes & ORY pipe. I was originally thinking of getting a cutout but now i think. I would just rather get a new exhaust as well, i can get the CME custom made in 3" for less then 200.

Im just looking to buy the muffler, just wondering what sounds best?? Magnaflow? Borla? how's the SLP LM2?? I loved how it sounded on my Z28 w/ stock manifolds but curious as to the sound with LT's & ORY. Any other suggestions?? Dont want it to be raspy or too freaking loud. I want something nice at cruise levels and opens up on rev's and at WOT.

Out of those choices, Magnaflow without hesitation. Take it from me, Ive tried just about every exhaust combination you could think of. Its hard to beat Magnaflow with LT headers and no cats. That being said, check out my 2 posts on the Jeg' catback in this section

That is up to you, what do YOU like? It is like asking "what is your favorite color". You can listen to the different sound bytes and decide what you like. And you should, in the FAQs there is a series of sounds of engines reving with different exhaust systems. I've got a Borla, and I love it. Sounds badass when I crank it over and when I stand on it...it blows it out like a death scream from hell.

here we go again.......................depends on what sound you like loud, quiet and mellow? A couple years ago I wanted the car loud, but now I want it quiet with a good tone

I have the magnaflow quad tip system, I really like the sound of magnaflow, of course with out cats with a y-pipe set up any system will have some amount of rasp to it

The way to go is to find a catback with a nice mellow tone, so you can put a cutout on and have the best of both worlds and open it up whenever you want.

different strokes for different folks. everyone has there own tastes. personally i think all systems sound good as long as there not connected to anything with less thank 8 cylinders.

Personally, magnaflow sounds very nice, also hooker sounds very nice too. borla is just gay, especially for the money. check out www.ls1sounds.com and listen to everything, you will find something that gets your attention

I think you should go with the full hooker exhaust. LTs, ory and catback. I have hooker lts and the 3" ory and a flowmaster on a custom 3" and it sounds good, a little raspy though.
