Default Best flowing Filter housing?

Personally, I think the K&N FIPK would flow the best, but I want to see what the general consensus is???

I know lids can be restrictive to a point.. I'm getting to that point.. I want to got more air to the intake and to the heads.. The lid and the MAF is going to be a choke point soon. I want a ZO6 MAF, but I'm still doing my research on where to find a good one..

There are guys on here pushing well over 500 with a Lid setup. The K&N FIPK has many post dedicated to it and how much power it does or does not make. Just depends on who you ask.

I have a feeling that the consensus will be in favor of lid setups.

And depending on the power you are making now, you may not need a Z06 maf.

To me, the K&N FIPK looks like it sucks in warm engine bay air.

Go with a bigger 85mm lid and a SD tune.

This might not be relevent cause my car is pretty close to stock. But I have the SLP lid and I did the free ram air mod and it seems to sucking in plenty of air.

The problem with the K&N is that it breathes a lot of engine heated air.

Your best bet would be to use our 85mm lid set up in conjuction with our FTRA ram air kit.

I'm using a fast toys lid with a FAST 92/92 SD tune on my HKE 427 and making 580 rwhp on pump gas. I don't think the lid has any restriction at all. At least not at my HP level.
