Default Buying new intake.

I have the chance to buy a intake off of a 2002 camaro. Is this the LS6 one I need for mine, is not having a egr a problem? Also, what throttle body would I need for it?

I figured this would compliment my exhaust nicely and then I could get a tune.

not having egr, depends if you have to take a sniffer test. still might pass with converters on the car. yeah it "should" be a LS6 intake. look up the part number on it to be sure. there are LS6 intakes with egr out there if you want to keep the egr, or tap that manifold for egr.

stock throttle body will work.

just check the part numbers. ill help you out. ill post up in a minute.

Thanks. Would it be worth it to change to TB/MAF on it or not? Just a bolt in replacment right?

hmm, for now i would say no. i think the LS6 and LS1 have the same size throttle body.

one thing that would help is porting your throttle body.

and the MAF sensor isnt restrictive, unless over like 500 horsepower it would help. also do you have a lid/FIPK and smooth bellows too?

LS1 and LS6 is the same size throttle body. The LS6 is also a great choice and definately the best bang for the buck.
