Does anyone have any sound clips of any of these cams Thanks

You would probably be better of just doing some boltons, you would make around the same power and not have to go through all the work to install a cam or pay someone to do it. I would say it is not worth it, but hey, do what you wanna do.

why??? whats wrong with a custom cam, or comp.... have you installed a single cam??? name of the shop doesnt magically add horsepower... are texas speed better than LG?? or is predarorZ and patrickG just rip off artists that stand in the shadow of the allmighty TSP?? give me a ******* break, if you dont know, dont reply.....
looking at your sig i dont see a cam anywhere... and you posted this in a diferent thread:
Wow that has to suck major donkey d_ck glad im just looking for a bolt on/cam car in the future
And i dont mean come off as an ******* but here i a slight hijack to explain why... i just had enough of every tom dick and harry posting like they knew everything, I asked a couple of questions on a combo i was byuing and people with 86 posts and an slp lid were telling me that is i didnt have a mamo ported Fast and an MS4 i would loose a gazillion horsepower... sorry to have stepped on toes, but i just had to vent.....

I would say do full bolt ons and a ls6 cam. Will have stock driving manners and should put you right around 360-370 rwhp. Plus its not going to be hell on your springs like a hot cam or other aftermarket cam with aggressive lobes, so the durability will be stock-like.

there has been a ton of cars on here perform very well with the hot cam......search is your friend.....and anything 22x is not gonna sound stock, unless its on a 116lsa......the hot cam even has a noticable idle....

Yes, his reply was classic but rather than start a pissing contest with that guy (which is what that kind of response usually leads to) in someone else's thread, just ignore it. It's obvious he has no clue. I understand that it get's irritating after a while, we all see it on here all the time but it's easier for everyone just to ignore those kinds of posts until at least he brings something factual into the argument.
Anyways, back to the topic at hand!
To the OP I would not "waste" my time with the hotcam. There are plenty of other cams in the 224 range and a little larger that you can run and still have nearly stock driveability but have a very satisfying gain in power as well. That being said, you are probably not going to find much of anything in that range that will still "sound" stock. Most all aftermarket cams will have a slight chop to them. Even the hotcam.

With the sale going on at KATECH you can get the Hot Cam kit for less than $500 and yes it's a good cam and has shown some solid gains. There are better but there is nothing wrong with the GMPP.
