Since no one's asked, would there be any drawbacks to swapping LS1 coils into a 6.0 Denali or 4.8 truck? I have both and would like to just trade setups. But I don't want to negatively affect either truck or Denali. I haven't even checked to see if either has these coils, but hopefully one will.

all you guys loosing your mind how to mount these coils never thought of this?
i moved the bracket down 1.5 inch and over the the left a half inch about...i am using one existing bolt hole in the valve cover as seen here.

then im using 2 existing bolt holes and bolts to suround the tab for now...will make a piece or metal to cover the tab later. it holds it down just fine with some bigger washers you might not even need the metal.

as you can see when you mount the coils this way the center hole lines right up with another hole behind themail harness conecter. you just have to open up the side of the hole a little more to get a bolt to work then just just move the harness conecter over a bit...thats what im going to do

i could drill a hole in the triangle part of the bracket for an other bolt but i dont really think its needed...well this my my solution...what you think? alot better then making up brackets and messing with the fuel rail and all that junk right?
i will do a full writeup if everyone wants after im done

Yeah guys, everthing's here in this long-assed thread. I'm working on getting a sticky faq posted.
AFAIK, in the other thread, there was only one dyno test that showed zero improvement. Many guys who've done the swap without the ability to do a back to back dyno test have reported better "feel" and such. I'll bet that the car that showed no improvement on the dyno will still have that better feel to it's owner.
