Default Cruise control, abs, and tcs delete

So Im going to start making room for my turbo build and was looking to remove cruise control, abs and tcs from my 98 z28. Ive searched around and think I know what I need but want to make sure Im not missing anything.

From what ive read so far is that I will need a throttle cable from a non cruise control car 98-99 to eliminate cc and tcs. Is that all I need and what modifications if any would need to be done to the cable?

For the abs unit I have already ordered a wilwood proportioning valve and am going to make my own lines. Is there anything else I need to do other than replacing the abs unit with the proportioning valve?

Thanks in advance for any help!

what kind of double flare tool are you going to use? the rigid one sucks for 3/16 and the stock metric lines. i ended up using the metric rental one from vautozone and it worked perfect. might as well install a line lock while you have it all out. you will also need to tape over or rip the bulbs out for the brake, tcs, abs inop, and the service vehicle (not the ses) lights.

Im going to be renting one from autozone or another parts store and I thought about getting line lock but dont really have a need for it right now, but its still in the back of my mind.

For the lights do you just pop the cluster out and pull the bulbs or is there more involved?

Your current throttle and cruise control cables look something like this (not sure if you know already):

Gas pedal - through firewall - over the intake - to ASR servo
Cruise control unit (DS frame rail near FR bumper) - around engine bay - over intake - to ASR servo
ASR - throttle body

I wouldn't say you really need a new throttle cable because you could just custom fit your current one, but it's not advised because the length adjusting mechanism would be in the way.

Do you plan on retaining A/C? It looks like you'd save a lot more room by ditching the AC components compared to ASR for instanace.

Interesting, now how would I make the current cable work. I looked at it the other day and was going to try to make it work but the ends on the cable are different and wouldnt hook up to the throttle body. If there is a way Id much rather do that than spend $25 on a new cable.

Yeah ac is going also, Im trying to make as much room as possible so I have room to work the turbo in without everything being super cramped.

here is what the cluster lights look like:

pull bulbs ds24, ds27, ds28, ds31, and ds35. this is for an 01 camaro cluster.
make sure when you get the rental tool from autozone you ask for the metric, the other wont work for ****.
