Unhappy Whats up with this, coolant leaking...

Here is the story. A couple weeks ago, I checked the fluid levels in my car including the coolant. I added about 8oz. to the tank on the side to get it to the right level. The next day I was running the engine while showing my friends. After running it for about 3 to 4 minutes, I moved it and saw coolant on the ground. It was hot so definitly from the car. Took a look under the car and it was dripping off of the k-member, a little was even coming out of the holes in the k-member. At stop lights and traffic, I can smell coolant. In the morning, there is steam coming out of my exhaust, even when no other cars on the road have steam coming out, and even after driving it for 20 minutes, there is still steam coming out.

I was thinking maybe a blown head gasket but there would probably be more than just a coolant leak. Only thing I've done to the system is the TB bypass, that is not leaking, nor the radiator, thermostat, or any hoses around there. Any coolant hose I could find I checked, nothing. There is also no coolant running down the face of the block. Checks the plug for the water temp gauge sensor and nothing as well. It has to be coming from some place I can't see. Anyone know what it could be, or what I could check?

Thanks a lot!!!

This probably isn't your issue but after my H/C/I swap I filled up the coolant and overfilled it a tad and for the next 2 days when the car was sitting idling for a few mins it would purge the cooling system and dump the excess out and it would drip near the front passenger side under the car, underneath the fill bottle basically.

You would be supprised where the fans will blow coolant........, Go pick up a pressure tester and pressure test the cooling system youll find the leak

Man this thread is old..... I think I found that the problem was the water pump gaskets. The collant leak stopped after my cam swap in which I changed the gaskets. The rubber part of the gasket had torn off of the metal part and probably caused a slight leak. Seems to be okay for now.
