Default Looking to make a 630mile trip, how much gas will it take?

About how much gas do ya'll think it will take to make this trip? On average I will be cruising at 85mph cause the speed limit is 80mph. The car is a 1998 Camaro Z28 with all boltons stock 3.42 gears and it is a M6. Give me some predictions.

I average about 24 on the highway, but I have an A4. I'd say about 25-27 gallons, depending on what plugs/wires you have

I think you MIGHT could pull off 2 tanks. 315 mi/tank, and ive been 280 on one tank, but that is city driving.

This will realy depend on how you drive, traffic, flat, stright, mountains, etc and how heavy you are on the stop and go pedals.

But if you drive slower and keep a steady pedal, High 20's in not unresonable. else mid 20's is a good bench mark.

so, you can do the math...

I was going to guess no more then 30 gallons. Go out and drive after topping off the tank. Then refill and divide miles driven by gallons to refill. That should give you a good idea too.

I say 2.5-3 tanks. We made it to Topsail Beach in NC on just under 3 tanks. That was running 85-90 most of the way, including mountain driving. Granted I have 2.73's, headers, ory and no tuning but it was about 830 miles one way.

I took an 1800 mile trip a few years ago and averaged 30mpg on 3 tanks and 31 on 1 tank.
I would guess 22-23 gals.
