Default Corsa Or Loudmouth?

I have a 99 ss M6 bone stock! Which exhaust should I go for corsa or loudmouth. I want something that is crisp and loud with a deep troaty sound at WOT and mid throttle, but I would like it to sound fairly quiet at the right times if you know what Im saying. If anyone has sound clips of Corsa or loudmouth I would like to hear them. Thanks

Corsa is what you are looking for if what you decribed is the type of sound you want! It sounds good at mid throttle and roars at WOT. At idle it is nice and quiet!

Defiantly Corsa, the LM is loud as hell at WOT and sometimes raspy even with stock manifolds. Corsa will be refined and deep sounding and loud at WOT. Good Luck man

get a loudmouth and save yourself 500 bucks, even if it means dealing with some rasp

Personally I think with stock manifolds the loudmouth sounds fantastic. But, if you plan on getting long tubes in the future DO NOT get loudmouth. I made that mistake and it sounded like complete ***, and thats with cats.
But if you're not getting Long tubes anytime soon (or ever), I'll sell you my loudmouth for $200 plus shipping (less than 8k miles on it).

I had the same problem when I was deciding on what exhaust to get. I really like the way the Corsa sounds. It sounds great on their website, but i've heard it in person and it sounds even better. I really wanted something that flowed a bit more, and the only way to get that was to go with the Loudmouth. I kept reading about everyone saying it's too loud and whatnot, and I did plan on long tubes.

So I realized I didn't plan on long tubes for a while. I bought the Loudmouth on sale from Tbyrne, and got the SLP y-pipe used from a friend of mine. I think it sounds great. It can be kept quiet if you keep the cats, yet you can tell there is something there from the nice rumble. WOT it screams, and even under moderate throttle, it's enough to let people know it's not just a stock Camaro.

I say if you want to save like $300 bucks (I have $400 into the y/catback) go with the Loudmouth. Save the rest of the money for a lid and a shifter.

I was truely worried it was going to sound like crap, but I took the risk and I am 100% pleased with my results and I don't even think twice about it. Now, once I do get rid of my stock manifolds, i'll probably switch to the Corsa or GMMG. Until then, I have no regrets.
