for reference, on back to back dyno runs i picked up 18hp and 12ft with a home ported FAST 90/90....this was over the LS6 with ported TB on my cam only setup.
car was tuned with the ls6 and then again with the FAST...apples to apples as you can get.
i plan to try a similar comparison in the future (possibly after heads) with a TSP 100mm lid and 100mm maf.
speed density not only requires a specific tune, but once tuned the car will only run at that power level when in the same environmental conditions as it was tuned...for the most part.
put it in HOT and HUMID weather after tuning in cool, dry air...and you could lose 20hp.

If this is even REMOTELY true for you, you need to fire your tuner, or keep him on a MAF-only diet.
I tune many of them in SD and see the WOT AFR stay steady year-round. Where exactly do all of the internet-legends and voo-doo surrounding SD tuning arise from?
