Default New Nasty Performance sheet metal intake

New pics of our finished product. Big Bore guys looking to go that extra step? Boost car need more air? Well than the intake is finalized and ready for sale. Built to feed big bore and boost cars. We have a New 90mm TB that works great with it. Just as a simple bolton on a 427 motor that made 505rwhp it picked up 20rwhp to put it at 525. With some tuning it will be even better. The intake also lost nothing in the lower rpm. We have seen over 50hp on a solid roller 427 with tuning and without the 90mm TB. It only gets better under boost or nitrous applications. Can have nitrous bungs installed or other options. It has fittings for all vacuum lines, MAP sensor and throttle cable. Also includes our billet fuel rails.

What are your feelings about the performance of this intake with H/C cars with stock cubic inches. Would you feel that there would be a gain, or would you feel that its too much for a H/C car?

Nate can you post some dyno graphs up of these different gains? Id lik to see how the curves move around. Big motor I dont think it would hurt the bottom end at all

J-Rod, I have talked with Nate before about the intake on a 346 H/C car and I believe he feels it would be a little much. My quess is that it would be worthwhile on a healthy solid roller motor (especially with nitrous), but probably not for even a healthy H/C like you have.

Course that is just me, I'm interested to see what Nate has to say about it.

Looks sweet, definitely on my list of next mods. Are we still on for testing this intake on my 422? BTW, what's the news on that Yella Terra that snapped?

pretaining to J-rods question, Futural motorsports has had success with a sheetmetal intake that i assume is similar to this on thier 346" motor. i bet this intake, from the post of nate, would be more for all bore and big stroker guys.

We have not had time for testing on the heads and cam cars. I will try it on my next dyno sesion. I don`t know about the gains but I do believe it won`t hurt H/C power curve then it would be definatly good for it on nitrous.

You are correct it has not hurt the bottom end at all it just gained 4500 and up.

Silent1 your rocker set is on its way. I need the rest back to send to them for testing to be sure this is not going to happen to any more.

Reckless ofcourse there is.

And yes it more pertaining to the big bore guys. I would say 500hp and up. Thats where they start to run out of air and need something of this caliber.

Thanks for the comments.

Nate

About 4 3/4" long but there is a specific taper to them as well.

Thanks Nate....does the price increase if N2O bungs are added? What is the production time turn around when purchased?
