Talking MTI lid or FTP lid for h/c set up

Ok I will keep it short. I just bought a fast 92/92 for my heads/cam set up and will need to replace the air lid and MAF.

What is the best lid and maf to go with? money is not important.
the more air it pulls the better. and less restrictive the better.

I have a K&N FIPK cold air but it is matched to a stock size 72mm MAF and stock sized Throttle body. This will not fit the new parts I ordered.

Personally I am leaning toward a MTI or FTP 98mm but if there is a better flowing one out there please let me know. And do they make a MAF that is larger than 85mm for that ls1 set up?

what are the other users of this forum running in there H/C with fast 92/92?

Thank you all for you time and advice! ~Dustin

the delphi 85mm maf is actually ~90mm, and it a direct fit for the 98mm lid

The 85mm MAF has a 98mm OD. So as long as the lid you have is 92-98mm it will either fit flush to the end or fit inside. Might just have to use a silicone coupling to mate them together.

UDP FTW, and the only way your going to see any gains is if you get a larger maf that is the restrictive point which FTP makes too. IMO, I would switch to speed density if you can and go with a UDP lid or get the FTP lid.

We make the Fast Toys 98mm air lid (for use with the 85mm MAF - Direct Fitment) and we also make the Fast Toys 104mm MAF for use with the Lingenfelter or TSP 100mm MAF - Direct Fitment).

On top of it all, we also sell the MTI clear lid for use with the stock sized MAF

When it comes to lids, we got you covered!
