The main difference is quality.. The power gain will be about the same. Depends on if you can drop 800$ (kooks) or you need to only spend 400 (pacesetters).

just make sure you get a 1 3/4 header at minimum. Texas Speed saw a slight power increase with their 1 7/8 headers. But really what you pay for is quality. you can get the $200 ebay ones or spend $1000 on stainless works.

I got the American Racing Headers for my vette and I love them, if I had it do over I would get ARH everytime. The best quality header I have ever personally had any experience with. For power, just make sure you get equal length (or as close as you can get) and merge collector and oviously either 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 (depending on plans for the car) and power should be about the same. Usually you are paying more for quality and a name.

Any longtube is better than stock

If your budget is about $600 than your looking at a set of Pacesetter Coated Long Tubes. They are pretty nice BTW I just picked up a set and love them. They were easy to install and look great.

Texas speed 1 7/8 work great for me if not pacesetters or theres a stainless one on here I dont remember the name.

I have been reading that the BBK Longtubes are pretty good and come with the Y. Price is about $500 or so for the ceramic coated.

Kooks is what i would go with if i had unlimited amounts of money, but i have hooker 1 3/4 and they fit well and untuned on the dyno gave me 20rwhp well that and an ORY... i bought them from a sponser here called speedtweekerz for like 360 ceramic... but they were on sale so iunno how much they are now i think they are usually like 500...

What about the edelbrock deal going on? They keep raising the price? Seems like quite a few jumped on that.
