Just thought I'd share what I came across... I've found it online for $850 + a free T-shirt doing a search... Can't wait to see the results out of this. At what point is too big though? LOL

We have seen recent updates to the intake manifold designs from FAST for rectangle port engines with their 102mm and 102mm RT manifolds. Then as you cathedral port owners started to feel left out, FAST announced today a new intake offering that boasts even more power from the previous 92mm offering. The new LSX-R intake is designed for the LS1, LS2, and LS6 cathedral-port head. If you've liked the LSX intake before, this new intake makes 3.5-4 more horsepower than the original LSX. The original LSX intake is no longer going to be available, and the new LSX-R is going to make 17-18 horsepower bolt-on over stock.
This has been fully re-engineered using the latest in airflow technology and CAD modeling. Street price on the intake is going to be the same as the LSR intake, just under $1000. The older 92mm intake would only accept the 92mm throttle body, while the new one has a 10mm larger inlet and capability with the larger 102mm throttle body. It will feature removable runners like all the rest of the LSR intakes so you can reshape and report them.
