and u can get a volt meter and test it out, thats what i did. thats the safest way. before i ground some down just a little so it would open more but i wasnt even close to what i could be at. just get a volt meter, im sure advance has one u can use or something....
First off, make sure there isn't anything blocking your gas pedal from going all the way to the floor (such as a floor mat or trash). Not sure if there's an adjustment, that's a good question.
The best way to grind the stop tang is by measuring
the blade to 90 degrees open. Do this with a ruler,
keep going until you get the upper edge just to
the center of the mouth. Now you have minimum
airflow obstruction.
Then, if your TPS gives you too high a reading
(which it should not, if you didn't go over-the-
top mechanically, you can rat-tail-file the TPS
mount holes to make it adjustable.
