How much do throttle bodies and bellows help?

Default How much do throttle bodies and bellows help?

I am trying to decide if I want to spend the money on either if these two. Any input?

the TB is worth it, there have been proven gains with that. the bellows is more for appearance than anything.

Get a fernco fitting, don't buy the bellows.

on a cammed car you will see some gains. mabe 7-10rwhp

on a bolton car or an internally stock engine, you wont see much..

What tb is best if one was looking to get an LS6 intake (not the LSX..too expensive) in the future?

they are all around the same.

I wouldnt get the BBk since i dont think its worth the money.

our sponsers have some nice TB's, i would check out bauer with the nice coatings, although any of the ported TBs will do. MTI, thunder, etc..

the shaner and bauer TB's seem to be the most popular ones. and as stated get the fercno fitting as opposed to the bellows, its only an appearance mod anyway.

Does the fernco fitting fit any better than the slp bellows? I've got the slp and when I changed out my airbox lid I was going to put it in but the fit was so poor I would have had to trim it down a bunch. I didn't feel like doing it so I didn't install it.

my slp bellows fit fine, it's of the newer design.
